The Rangers are up!
With last match played on Saturday Queens Park Rangers are champions of the Championship and are officially promoted to the Premier League after an absence of 15 years.
QPR finally celebrate a dream season where they stayed on top from the beginning of the season right down to the end with 24 victories and only six defeats and best player of the year for captain Adel Taarabt.
After the final whistle, thousands of fans could not resist the temptation of breaking through the stewards cordon and running on to the pitch to be with their heroes. More than 18.000 persons were present at Loftus Road and the enormous joy was of everyone: from fans to players, directors as well as sponsors. It has been a long wait for QPR but now they return to the top-flight.
